We will be working closely with some of the best software architects and engineers, alongside our development team to design the 'next generation' version of our product. We call this an 'Intelligent In-Tray' as it acts as a repository for all information sent to the user from the Portal systems or from other users in the same network. Information such as Alerts, Emails, Text Messages, Events, News, Documents are all filtered and stored in the user area so that the user can manage them and refer back to this information at any point in the future.

DocCom are delighted to announce the appointment of their second non-executive director, Mark Jackson. 



Mark was Co-founder and CEO of Helphire Group. Helphire provides services to the victims of non-fault road traffic accidents.  One of three founders of the Group as a privately-funded start-up in 1992, the Company grew rapidly from inception to IPO in 1997 at which time there were 250 employees and a market capitalization of £16m. Revenues grew from £33m in 2002 to over £400m in 2007.  Pre-tax profit grew in the same period from less than £0.5m to over £40m.  Having stepped down as CEO as of December 2008, he remains an Advisor to the Board.

Mark was also a Co-founder and Non Executive Chairman at the Assura Group from 2003-08, which was founded to develop a new model of service delivery in UK Primary Health Care.  In 2003, £140m was raised to fund the acquisition of surgery premises and the Group now owns over £380m of property and development assets.

The Bristol SETsquared Business Acceleration Centre experienced growth in the last year with six further companies joining and three graduating.  Currently, there are 37 companies attached to the Centre employing approximately 200 people between them.  Twelve of these companies have between them raised over £23m in funding in the last year alone.
