The DocCom Board of Directors includes individuals with expertise ranging across healthcare and business.
Nick spent 20 years working as a senior manager in the UK IT industry, mainly for US companies. He holds several non-executive directorships of private sector companies.
Mark joined the board of DocCom in July 2009, bringing with him years of experience in the Primary Healthcare and Financial Services sectors.
Jon Shaw qualified as a doctor in 2002 and trained in surgery to become a member of the Royal College of Surgeons (London). He has degrees in Medicine and Molecular Biology. Jon still works as an A&E staff grade doctor one shift per week.
Jon built software and database applications inside and outside the NHS prior to founding DocCom. Jon is an OOP developer with skills in C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, LINQ, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Agile development and SCRUM.
Jonathan graduated in Medicine from the University of Bristol and trained in Surgery to become a member of the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh). During his clinical career, Jonathan also held management roles within the NHS and is still actively participates in NHS management and politics. Jonathan co-founded DocCom in 2007 while completing an MD in Vascular surgery and currently works one shift per week as a surgical registrar.
Richard studied Electrical and Information Engineering at Cambridge before moving into the finance industry. He has 8 years experience as an analyst and financial modeller across marketing, finance and sales divisions in the UK and Australia. After deciding he wanted a broader challenge Richard joined DocCom as Finance Director in April 2008.
Arthur has over 35 years of industry experience in sales, business and people management. He has extensive experience manageing major UK and global accounts achieving sales targets in excess of £50M. Arthur joined DocCom in June 2009 as Sales Director.
